Summary:
Written Submissions for PE1244
21 April 2009 : The Committee agreed to write to the Scottish Government and NHS Health Scotland seeking responses to the points raised in the petition.<Link to Official Report 21 April 2009
8 September 2009 : The Committee agreed to close the petition on the grounds that neither the Scottish Government nor NHS Health Scotland support any proposal to revise the regulations and accompanying guidance that would allow schools to provide full fat milk as this would undermine the principles upon which the Nutritional Requirements are based and that both have responded fully to each of the eight points raised in the original petition. Further, the current regulations allow parents to send their child to school with full fat milk if they so wish.<Link to Officiaol Report 8 September 2009
